Every customer order goes straight to your fulfillment center for shipping, and you watch it move from warehouse to door in real time. Your customer can track their own delivery with a 6-digit PIN — so they stop asking you for updates, and no order ever slips through.

  1. Step 1: Download Relay. Pick Merchant.

    Install the app. Open it. On the role picker, tap the Merchant card.

    • Sign up with your phone number — 30 seconds.
    • Already have a code from your FC? Tap “I have an invite code” to skip ahead.
  2. Step 2: Paste the invite code your FC sent you.

    Your fulfillment center texts you a code over WhatsApp. Pasting it links every future order straight to them — no setup back-and-forth.

    • Open Profile. Tap Enter invite code.
    • Paste the code (looks like MEA-0E0489). Tap Join.
  3. Step 3: Load your catalog in one sweep.

    Products live on the Inventory tab — photos, prices, stock counts. Don't type each one. Import.

    • Tap Import products → upload a CSV from a spreadsheet, or
    • Paste your store URL — Relay pulls the catalog for you.
    • Stock drops itself on every order. You won't accidentally promise something you've run out of.
  4. Step 4: Tap the orange + to start an order.

    Every order you create or receive lives on the Orders tab. The floating + button is how you make a new one.

    • Tap + → New order.
    • Delivery is selected by default. Switch to Pickup if your customer is collecting it.
    • Tap Start new order.
  5. Step 5: Paste the message your customer sent.

    Whatever they wrote — name, phone, address, items, all jumbled — paste it into one box. Relay extracts every field for you.

    • Tap Paste.
    • Drop in the message exactly as you got it.
    • Tap Review order. Relay shows the parsed fields.
  6. Step 6: One last check. Then submit.

    Relay lays out the customer, items, delivery area, and total. Edit anything that needs fixing. When it's right, submit.

    • Tap any line to edit it.
    • Confirm the delivery area — the fee sets itself.
    • Tap Submit order. Your FC sees it the same second.
  7. Step 7: Send the customer their PIN.

    Every order generates a 6-digit delivery PIN and a clean receipt. Share both over WhatsApp. The customer hands the PIN to the rider on arrival — that confirms it actually got there.

    • Tap Share receipt with customer.
    • Tap Download receipt for your records.
    • Customer can self-track at relayapp.ng/track with the PIN — no app, no login.

  1. Step 1: Download Relay. Pick FC Admin.

    FC Admin is the owner role. Pick it once. Your staff get invited later with their own logins.

    • Install the app, then tap FC Admin on the role picker.
    • Set your business name and city. Two minutes.
  2. Step 2: Set where you deliver.

    Areas define your coverage and your fees. Set them once and shipping calculates itself on every future order. No more quoting by hand on WhatsApp.

    • Open the Manage tab.
    • Tap Areas.
    • Choose Import pricelist for the fast path, or Add area manually for one-offs.
  3. Step 3: Upload your rate card. Any format.

    Photo of a printed sheet. Screenshot from your phone. A typed PDF. Relay reads them all and turns them into areas you can review. No retyping.

    • Take a photo of your rate sheet, or
    • Choose a JPG/PNG from your gallery, or
    • Upload a PDF or DOCX up to 10 MB.
  4. Step 4: Profile → People is where your team lives.

    Staff, riders, merchants — all in one place. You don't paperwork them in. You invite them by phone number and they finish sign-up themselves.

    • Tap Profile in the bottom-right.
    • Tap People.
    • Pick a tab — Staff, Riders, or Merchants. Tap + to invite.
  5. Step 5: Pick a role. Type a number. Tap Invite.

    Each invite ties a role to a phone number. Relay generates a unique code per person — nothing is shareable by mistake.

    • Select Staff, Rider, or Merchant.
    • Enter the phone number.
    • Tap Invite. Relay creates a one-time code (FCS- for staff, FCR- for riders, MEA- for merchants).
  6. Step 6: Copy the code. Send it. Done.

    Tap the code to copy. Send it over WhatsApp or SMS. They paste it on sign-up and they're linked to you instantly — orders flow from that moment.

    • Tap to copy.
    • Paste into WhatsApp or SMS.
    • When they enter it on their app, they appear in your team list automatically.
  7. Step 7: Now every order lands here, in real time.

    From here, you accept orders instead of making them. Merchants create them, Relay pushes them to you, you assign a rider in two taps.

    • New orders appear at the top of Orders with a live ping.
    • Multi-select to bulk-accept the morning rush.
    • Tap a rider to assign — online riders surface first, ranked by current workload.

Every delivery. Everything you need.

Every delivery your FC dispatches lands on your phone with the customer's address, the items to collect, a one-tap call button, and the PIN entry to confirm drop-off. Set up and you're in the dispatch queue.

Your FC adds you first and sends a code over WhatsApp. It looks like this:

  2. Step 2: Download Relay. Pick Rider.

    Install the app. Open it. Choose your role.

    • Tap Rider on the role picker.
    • Or — if you copied your code first — tap “I have an invite code” to skip ahead.
  3. Step 3: Paste your code. Tap Join.

    From the role picker route, open Profile and tap Enter invite code. Paste. Tap Join. You're linked to your FC.

    • Profile → Enter invite code.
    • Paste FCR-XXXXXX.
    • Tap Join.
  4. Step 4: Flip Online when you're ready to work.

    Your FC only assigns deliveries to riders who are online. Toggle on at the start of your shift, off when you stop.

    • Top of the home screen — Online / Offline switch.
    • Active deliveries stay with you if you go offline mid-shift.
  5. Step 5: Open the order. Pick up. Mark Picked up.

    Assigned orders land on your Orders tab. Tap one for everything you need: customer name, phone, address with a Maps link, items to collect from the FC, a one-tap call button.

    • Collect the items at the warehouse.
    • Tap Picked up — the status flows to the merchant, the FC, and the customer in real time.
  6. Step 6: On arrival, ask for the PIN.

    The customer has a 6-digit PIN. It's how everyone confirms the delivery actually happened. No PIN, no completed delivery.

    • Type the PIN into the order screen.
    • Snap a proof-of-delivery photo.
    • Cash-on-delivery? Collect the money and mark it paid.
    • Tap Delivered. Done.

Is Relay free?

Free for merchants and riders, forever. Fulfillment centers pay ₦100 per delivered order after a 2-week free trial — no monthly fee, no per-user fee, unlimited team size.

What if my fulfillment center isn't on Relay yet?

Fill in the “Tell my FC” form on the merchants page. We reach out within 24 hours.

Does my customer need to install anything to track their order?

No. Every order ships with a 6-digit PIN they enter on the public tracking page — any browser, no app, no login.

Where do I get an invite code as a merchant or rider?

From the fulfillment center. They add you from their Profile → People tab and send the code over WhatsApp or SMS. You paste it on sign-up.

Can I import my existing catalog and pricelist?

Yes. Merchants can upload a CSV or paste a store URL. FCs can import pricelists from a photo, image, or PDF.

What if I'm shipping from more than one warehouse?

Add each as a separate FC. Merchants pick which FC ships each order. Stock stays separate per warehouse.
