The service

Relay is software for running deliveries: order capture, a live order board, rider assignment, PIN-confirmed delivery, tracking, and cash-on-delivery records. Relay is not a courier — deliveries are performed by independent delivery businesses and their riders.

Pricing

The delivery business pays Relay according to the plan it selects — pay-as-you-go per completed trip, or a monthly plan with bundled trips. Current plans and rates are published at relayapp.ng/pricing; paid plans start with a 14-day free trial. There are no per-seat fees, and merchants and riders are not charged by Relay. Delivery fees charged to customers are set by, and belong to, the delivery business.

Your responsibilities

Keep your account credentials safe, enter accurate order information, hold the required permits for your business, and use the platform lawfully. Cash collected from customers is the responsibility of the business and rider handling it; Relay records it but does not hold it.

Delivery confirmation

An order is complete when the customer’s 6-digit delivery PIN is entered. Businesses are responsible for making sure their customers receive and protect their PIN.

Liability

Relay provides the software as-is and is not liable for loss or damage of goods in transit, disputes between merchants, businesses, riders and customers, or downtime beyond our reasonable control. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Nigerian law.
