About Relay
Relay is the app the merchant, the fulfillment center and the rider all open — three views of the same order. Merchants create it, centers assign it, riders deliver it, and the customer's PIN closes it. Nobody has to call anybody to find out where it got to.
Merchants drop orders into a thread. Staff forward addresses to riders. Customers ask where their order is, so the merchant calls the center, so the center calls the rider. Three calls for one delivery, and twenty unread messages by the time the first one is handled.
Orders get buried. Stock counts drift. Fees get argued. A rider misses a pickup because the address is two screens up.
We have been on both sides of that thread — as the merchant calling for the tenth time, and as the operator scrolling two hundred messages to find one order. So we built the app we wanted to use: the same workflow, with nothing buried and nobody calling to ask.
Who's behind it
Relay comes from the team behind Boldswitch, the Nigerian fintech building digital payments without limits — from FacePay to all-in-one business accounts. The instinct is the same, pointed at logistics: take something people already do every day, and make it simply work.

Relay is the system your center runs on. We build tools for the people already moving the orders — the one thing we set out to replace is the group chat.
02
The cost sits with the operator running the center, and only once an order is actually delivered. Everyone else uses Relay free, always.
03
Flaky networks. Okada deliveries. Addresses that are landmarks. Cash on delivery and same-day remittance. We design for how the work actually happens here.
04
No seamless integrations. No robust platforms. Just the app, in plain words, and what it does for you today.
05
Most of what's in Relay came from operators telling us what they needed. If something is missing or broken, tell us — we usually fix it the same week.
06
We don't replace your center, your riders, or your merchants. We connect them. Relay is the glue between people already doing the work.
Where we're live
New centers onboard every week — and Relay works anywhere in Nigeria, listed or not.
